Enrolment Policy
Penrith Christian School seeks enrolment from families who desire a Christian education for their children, who actively support the ethos of the school, and are in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith. Priority of enrolment will be given to siblings of current families intending to finish their schooling at Penrith Christian school. Students enrolling in Preparatory School are required to turn four (4) and in Kindergarten are required to turn five (5) on or before 30th April in the year of commencement.
Scholarships
Christian Leaders Scholarships enable the school to extend the benefits of a quality Christian education to new students with Christian leadership potential and / or families actively involved in Christian leadership in their local Church, who have a demonstrated financial need.
Christian Leaders Scholarships are available for new students seeking enrolment in Kindergarten to Year 12 and generally covers up to 50% of Tuition Fees, or up to 100% in special circumstances.
Scholarship discounts do not apply to Stage Levy Fees, school uniforms or any other optional activities and all associated costs remain the responsibility of the recipient's family.
Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive any credit for Parent Involvement Program or further discounts to Tuition Fees for payments paid annually or term in advance.
Christian Leaders Scholarship candidates are required to be endorsed by their Church on an annual basis and be in regular attendance of Children's Church and / or Youth Group.

Academic Scholarships enable the school to encourage the pursuit of academic excellence in all areas of the curriculum through the recognition and encouragement of student achievements. Academic Scholarships are available for existing students progressing at the key transition point of Year 9/10 (Junior Secondary) levels moving into Year 11/12 (Senior College) at PCS.
Applications are welcome during Term 4 of each year from existing PCS students in Year 9 based on performance in Year 9 Assessments and NAPLAN Tests and will be subject to confirmation and ongoing review by the Principal and the Scholarship Assessment Committee based on performance during Year 10.
Academic Scholarships will cover up to the equivalent full First Child Tuition Fee cost for each year that the student is enrolled in the Scholarship Period.
Scholarship discounts do not apply to Stage Levy Fees, school uniforms or any other optional activities and all associated costs remain the responsibility of the recipient's family.
Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive any credit for Parent Involvement Program or further discounts to Tuition Fees for payments paid annually or term in advance.

Financial Assistance Scholarships enable the school to extend support to students of existing families in special circumstances, such as temporary unemployment, periods of illness or unexpected hardship.
Financial Assistance Scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 12 and cover up to 80% of Tuition Fees, depending on individual family's needs. Any assistance granted is at the discretion of the School Principal and is reviewed every six (6) months.
Scholarship discounts do not apply to Stage Levy Fees, school uniforms, or any other optional activities and all associated costs remain the responsibility of the recipent's family.
Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive any credit for Parent Involvement Program or further discounts to Tuition Fees for payments paid annually or term in advance.

How Do I Enrol?
Please read through the below steps for information on the enrolment process.
1. Complete an Enrolment Application for each child and mail or deliver in person to the school with the following:

Photocopy of student’s Birth Certificate or Passport

Photocopy of student’s most recent School Report, Academic Achievements including Basic Skills & School Certificate results & Specialist Reports, if applicable

Payment of Non-Refundable Application Fee by cheque or money order (First Child $50.00, Second and Third Child $30.00, Fourth and subsequent children free; maximum $110.00 per family)
2. Please ask your Pastor or a business person, professional or public officer to complete the Reference form enclosed and have them fax or mail it to the school.
3. We will send you a letter confirming we have received your application. Before a position is offered, you will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal and Head of Primary or Secondary School.
4. Payment of an Enrolment Bond is required to accept and secure a position offered within fourteen days of interview. (Bond covers all children in the family)
